SIP 1200mm Wood Turning Lathe

With a 14 inch bowl turning capacity the SIP 1200mm wood turning lathe has quickly become the centerpiece of my workshop.

The SIP wood turning lathe (model number 01490) is supplied with a cast iron legstand giving more than enough weight to stop vibration. I have not screwed my wood turning lathe to the floor yet see no vibration.

A 3/4 HP motor provides enough power for all but the biggest tasks this wood turning lathe is capable of but using a lighter cut overcomes this. Overall this 10 speed woodturning lathe has what it takes for my needs.

Turning larger bowls is accomplished by moving the rotating headstock. The two toolrests supplied together with the extension bar should provide enough support for your wood turning tools no matter what project you are workng on.
